The College of Engineering of the University of the Philippines at Diliman, Quezon City invites Visiting Professors in the following fields:

• Geodetic Engineering (Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems)
• Industrial Engineering (Operations Research, Information Systems Design, Human Factors and Ergonomics, Production Systems)
• Mechanical Engineering (Heat and Power, Machine Design, Energy, Biomechanics)
• Metallurgical Engineering
• Materials Science and Engineering (Nanomaterials, Advanced Ceramics, Biomaterials, Ultra-fine Particle Processing)
• Energy Engineering (Renewable Energy, BioFuels, Coal Energy, Energy Demand-Side Management)
• Environmental Engineering (Air Pollution, Solid and Hazardous Waste, Water and Wastewater)

Qualifications

The applicant must:

• Possess a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent. If not, the candidate must have an exemplary record in teaching and/or research.
• Must be an active faculty member of an academic institution.
• Must be actively publishing papers in refereed journals for the last 5 years (at least one paper per year).

Application and Evaluation Process

• Interested applicants should submit a CV in soft copy (PDF) to gradengg@up.edu.ph.
• Application documents will be forwarded to appropriate engineering department for evaluation and approval.
• If the department approves the application, the Department Chair will endorse it to the Fellowship Screening and Selection Committee for final approval.
• The applicant will be notified in writing of the result of the application.
