Students currently enrolled or those who have graduated in the first semester of the academic year are eligible to participate.

Student/groups will submit based on the prescribed format the Research Information Sheet (Abstract) and the Entry Forms on or before 12 March 2008. These forms will be made available at the Dean's office. Templates of the same form above will also be made available through a link in the downloads section of the URC website (Refer to the left menu).

The Faculty will be asked to review the submitted abstracts based on its commercial viability, socio-economic significance, and documentation quality. From among those abstracts that have received the highest reviews, the 10 finalists will be selected to move on to the final round.

A poster exhibit featuring all 10 finalists will be held days before the final round of judging from 14-15 April. During the final round on April 16, semi-finalists will give a 5-minute presentation of their research followed by a 5-minute question and answer session with each of the panel judges.

The three major winners will be announced at the end of the program and their cash awards and plaques given during the College Recognition rites.
